Webb’s Secondary Mirror Installation

The photo shows the installation of the James Webb Space Telescope's secondary mirror. The secondary mirror is gold-coated, round, convex, and sits at the end of 3 long booms. It redirects the light from our primary mirror into the tertiary mirror and instrument module.
